Education Minnesota Retired, a merged organization since 2000, consists of about 6300 Retired and Pre-retired members who want to remain affiliated with Education Minnesota, AFT, NEA and the AFL-CIO.

Education Minnesota Retired actively participates in political action and legislative efforts on such important issues as pension benefits and retired medical insurance.

A lifetime member is assured professional liability insurance coverage when teaching as a day-to day substitute, and legal services from Education Minnesota.

Education Minnesota Retired also retain the opportunity to participate in Education Minnesota ESI, AFT and NEA Member Benefit programs.
